A friend says goodbye
An in game friend of mine decided to stop playing EVE today and concentrate on the more important things in his life such as college and persuing his dream of becoming an American citizen one day. We didn’t know each other really well, as things normally go in an MMO but I did enjoy chating with him on a regular basis about his interest in motorcycles and getting his motorcycle license. As part of his exodus from EVE he generously gifted me with sizeable sum of in game currency called ISK.
Games we play are just games and its easy to forget there are real people behind the characters they play. EVE is one of the few games in which players around the world can play together on the same server. I wish you the best of luck my friend, UserX in whatever games you may play in the future and in real life.
